Vaginal Yoga: Pelvic Floor Revolution

Vaginal Yoga: Pelvic Floor Revolution

It sounds like a new age trend, but it really isn’t.

Our pelvic muscle is responsible for comfortably keeping our organs where they should be, sex, and bowel movements.

Non-invasive poses, stretches and exercises will help to strengthen your pelvic muscle over time.

The key is to focus on your core.

When I connected to my pelvic floor, for the first time in my life, I had this feeling of embodiment

So how can I test if I have a weak or strong pelvic floor?

Experts recommend a self-examination with a mirror.

“See if you can squeeze your vagina. The vagina should move – it should close and open. If you can’t see or feel that, you’re probably not doing it right.”

However– importantly– if you don’t have symptoms, shouldn’t worry because those muscles are clearly working to control the bladder and bowel.
