Song Recommendations from the 80’s in Stranger Things Season 4

Stranger Things Season 4 basically produces a hit playlist from the 80’s and you don’t want to miss it!

Unless you are living under a rock, you probably have heard the hype around Stranger Things Season 4. Showrunners, the Duffer Brothers, announced the fourth season of their hit series back in February. Then, they even had to cut the episode finale into two parts due to the unprecedented duration. Well, another win for the fans, isn’t it?

However, Stranger Things is great not only for its daunting supernatural story. The show also brings us back to the glory of the 80’s with their tons of references. Yet, the most important part is how superb their 80’s playlist is.

Artists featured on the newest soundtrack include Extreme, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, Dead or Alive, Musical Youth, KISS, Starpoint, and more ’80s mainstays. The opening soundtrack is Journey’s “Separate Ways”. A well-made choice since it is the perfect mirroring of the Hawkins gang’s divide following last season’s cliffhanger ending.

The full playlist was conceptualized by the Duffer Brothers themselves and Nora Felder. The latter is Stranger Things’ music supervisor since the first season. Now that Stranger Things finally concluded, the show received widespread critical acclaim. Among many is a Grammy nomination for Music Supervision which is not a surprise really.
