These Skincare Ingredients are Actually the Same!

Picking the right skincare ingredients can be challenging for anyone. On top of knowing what substances are most suitable for your skin, you need to be aware of which products contain the right formula down to its percentage.

However, even when you get everything down meticulously, you still need to do one other thing. And that is to know the names of skincare ingredients and its variants. Don’t let yourself get fooled by thinking two substances are different when in reality they are the same.

Yes, camellia flower extract is the same thing as green tea extract. In fact, black, green, oolong, and white tea come from the Camellia sinensis plant, also known as the tea plant. The leaf extract is actually the oil we get from extracting its leaves.

Tocopherol is just another name to refer to Vitamin E, so don’t get this one wrong! Vitamin E is a great ingredient for skin which acts as an antioxidant. It ultimately helps cells from damage.
